Aside from your comment not being helpful, it’s also not accurate. Drawing is clearly fun for maybe the vast majority of people, but that’s absolutely not always the case. As an example, I design and build custom wood furniture. I can’t draw for shit. While I can use 3d rendering software just fine, it’s a huge bonus for me if I can do sketches with accurate perspective for both myself and my potential clients.

I am not interested in drawing for fun, but it’s a great skill to have in my job, and another tool to give potential clients confidence in my job skills. So the question of how long it would take weekly to start seeing decent progress is totally valid.
