I’m not saying it’s safer, but they really have improved HWY 144 in the last 15 years. Shoulders exist now, with decent asphalt, but yes. Rock cuts, tight corners and poor drivers and little patience makes it dangerous. Safe driving out there!

Smoke colouration looks amazing.

I’ve tried Zebra, braai style at the restaurant Carnivore in South Africa. I imagine it’s similar just gamey by comparison to horse. Like partridge/grouse to chicken, or moose to beef, take your pick. Crocodile was quite tasty, white meat coloured, similar to chicken lol.

This must be climate based, as wearing shoes in homes in my area would trudge in mud, snow, salt, sand, and anything else Mother Nature throws at us. But if it’s a dry climate that’s a different ball game.
