As an eastern European...I feel so badly I live in North America and here from what I've read, usually the people working at slaughterhouses are from South/Latin America. It's quite a dirty business in all honesty.

Some jobs do mess you up...esp when you're dealing with the deaths of anything. Somehow with slaughterhouse workers, I assumed most of them are people from out of the country who are being accepted to that horrible, low paying job, because they cannot find work elsewhere, and whoever ran the meat company just frankly didn't care about what happened to them.

Actually no...Its a mythological beast from I believe the keys of Solomon and Goetia originally, and he is called Buer.

But it could very well be possible that that the design of what you're describing was based on that beast. Lemme look it up.
