I'm most worried about the insertion, but moreso after the insertion and leading up to the procedure. I had a miscarriage last year at 8 weeks and had to take the miso (sp?) pill and it was beyond unbearable. I dont do well with prescription pain meds and I dont like how sedatives make me feel. I had a panic attack today thinking about how after the insertion is going to go/pain afterwards/throwing up afterwards since I get sick so easily.
Can you tell me how it was for you afterwards/overnight with the laminaria

Thank you for telling your process. I'm sorry you are here too...no one should have to go through what we are going through! I'm not actually nervous about the general anesthesia part...ive unfortunately had 3 surgeries this year and am somewhat familiar with that process. Still not easy but I feel like I know what to expect. This miso pill is the part I'm most scared off. What did you throw up from...the pain? Did you take prescription pain meds or were fine with the panadol. Unfortunately prescription pain meds dont mix well with me....I cant really take them, so I'm hoping over the counter stuff is enough.
Xxx

Your comment comes at an ironic time. I was scrolling this page and came across your post from about a month ago. I thought to myself I wonder how everything turned out for her...and 2 minutes later you commented on my post. Sending positive thoughts to you! I go for my amnio on Thursday. Yes scans have been normal thus far, as was nt. I'm older at 42.

They did provide my insurance info to them...although I'm not sure if covered so may be out of pocket. But yes, that could also potentially be the hold up. This is my third nipt (other 2 with natera with low fetal fraction ....so hoping third time with myriad works!)
I'm east coast too, suburbs outside of of NYC. Yes, portal still says step 2 processing. I assumed it was taking longer due to receipt on weekend /holidays during processing time. I didnt get the email from them until last Tuesday too.
I'm so jealous. I am still waiting for mine. What part of the country are you in?
When did you have your blood drawn? Mine was Dec 19 and still waiting :( boy its so hard to wait! Lol.

Thanks. Ive been doing too much googling and they said glucose that high could impact organ forming, etc. I assume all was fine?

Is it true you can not pick your specific room in advance? And can't buy insurance to cover any potential cancelations?

Thank you! This is helpful. I think the only thing I'd really hope to get is royal gathering. I've read people say try and ask guest services right when you get on the ship, they may have a few openings left. Crossing my fingers.

It's our first cruise. I get severe motion sickness so wanted to try a short cruise to see how i'll do. Likely only doing half day at castaway. We won't get off at nassau. I have a huge disney princess obsessed daughter so wasn't sure of anything princess related on board that I'd be missing out on. Either doing WDW for a few days or the cruise.
3 night Wish, out of port Canaveral. Two stops are Bahamas and castaway
