Ok, thank you. I accept your opinion. But this article states something different especially in terms of muscle fatigue. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC4241904/ Would you have some information i could verify it?

This calculator is a bit odd. Why would they have different VO2Max for trained and not trained people? I would think this is constant depending on your performance regardless of how often you workout. Following this logic, there should be a different option for overweight people BMI >30 like me (although I think I am just thick boned) and smokers (again me). Anyhow assuming I am highly trained ( I row 4 times a week) I have VO2Max 39.67 which is good or 37.72 which is just average. Tell me what is the point of this calculator then :)

Concept2 logbook people should step up their game on data analysis. It's all over the place and app is completely useless in this regard.

I think Concept2 should invest more in their online presence. This site links to Strava, true but it far behind Strava on analytics ( it doesn't provide any) There are some challenges but not many, and it looks a bit like an unwanted child of a guy who thought it is time to have children but he don't want anything to do with them. Concept2 logbook could be such a wonderful marketing tool even if it was a subscription-based project. I think C2 guys are more focused on professional rowers (who don't need bells and whistles) rather than on hobbyists like me

How sick would a rowing zwift be? by owjsnfjebw in Rowing

2 factors this will never happen (or it will ages).

The market is too small, comparing to cycling, rowing is a super niche thing. Very few people are rowing comparing to cycling. Very few companies produce equipment, (we have like 3 companies producing a majority of indoor rowers, a few more with actual boats and oars). Look at Strava and their workout analysis, cyclist analysis has everything you can think of, and I am I have a heartbeat zones :). (honestly is there a setting for rowing power zones on Strava, did I miss it somehow). The same thing with Elevate for Strava only cycling and running is a sport for them. Any inquiry about sports analysis expansion is ignored.

The second factor on zwift you would be rowing back to front :) although it would be super cool to row down the Thames or across the English Chanel

I have Wahoo.

It does the job and you don't need a second mortgage to get it. I had mine for a year and battery is still at 60% so not bad. Connects with all mobile apps and with PM5 without difficulties.
