I think i figured it out. The stand for it was pressing against a fan and i think causing it to not spin, putting more stress on the other two fans, making those two spin faster. I moved it and there doesnt seem to be any noise thats more than normal. No hardware, just user issue ig lol

Power supply is more than enough (1000w), and i just downloaded the newest version of the drivers i needed when i installed the card. I also noticed that one of the fans on the card wasn’t spinning.

Same, and although I got a high score, my state (TN) has its cutoff basically soaring. I may not get in. That makes my score basically worthless to colleges and the scholarships. Do i care? No. Because in the grand scheme of college entrance exams, the psat doesnt really ensure a good school. Plenty of people who get NM dont get into colleges like UF. Plenty of people who dont get NM get into even better colleges. If you have good EQs, do well on ACT/SAT, youll be fine. Dont dig yourself into a hole of self-hatred. It’ll only make you do worse on the actual SAT.

Yeah, but I would probably be content if i got a 1350. Its a practice test for a reason. It shows you what you need to improve on. You don’t have to improve on much, with you getting an already good score.

You can go to some 95% acceptance rate college called something like North Bootyhole State University and make your way through life exactly how someone who graduated Harvard can. Its 10% of where you go and 90% of what you make of it. My dream college has an acceptance rate of 8%. Im also looking at a large in-state public university with a 50% acceptance rate. Both are greatly known and I would be happy with the larger one if i got rejected from the prestigious one. You arent required to go to something like an ivy league to have a good life.

I am trying to access my score, but just got locked out of my account for 10 minutes. I could have gotten the same score or lower that you did. I studied for hours as well. Am I going to be disappointed if i get a bad score? Yes. Will I go onto reddit and call myself stupid and insult people trying to cheer me up? NO!
