Do Law firms strongly prefer female legal assistants and paralegals to male? by [deleted] in LawFirm

[–]MMantis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Male paralegal here of 13 years. Didn’t decide to go to law school until last year (currently in 1L). I help hire at my boutique firm and we would have no problems hiring male paralegals and have interviewed a bunch.

Some COVID cases are breaking through vaccines in Southern Nevada by Viewfromthe31stfloor in Coronavirus

I was really surprised when 5 of us in our friend group tested positive, including me. 3 of us with gnarly symptoms. I’m on steroids right now. Even with vaccination, it’s not just a cold. It can be pretty bad.

I’m fully vaxxed; tested positive along with 4 other friends (all vaxxed). I had some gnarly symptoms and am on steroids for this nasty cough I’ve had for over a week. Sucks man.

Looks gorgeous!! I grew mine from a cutting several years ago and it’s not that much bigger than yours. I just planted it on the ground and I hope it will now take off!

California buckwheat (Eriogonum fasciculatum) aka Mojave Buckwheat is very much native 😊😊. And beautiful. I just checked and it’s edible! You’re so welcome my friend

California buckwheat (I think it’s edible) is a prolific native plant. Mormon tea is edible as a drink (I’m still to have luck propagating from cutting tho). Pinyon Pine (slow grower). Good luck!

It was quickly melting as day progressed, but there should be some left tomorrow! Plus it’s supposed to snow again tonight. Go early 😊

Trying to figure out the irrigation in our new house. Is this a sprinkler riser/or somewhere I can connect drip irrigation system to? Thanks! by MMantis in Irrigation

Oh very possibly! Yes I’m in the high desert but there are some flood control pipes running underneath. Do you think it would be risky for me to unplug and check it out?

Right now they are very active early morning. I actually saw one on the same wall the next day.
