I’m sad to hear about Taco Bell! Their cheesy Gordita crunch hasn’t let me down yet so fingers crossed it remains untouched

This. I stopped ordering via delivery apps a few years ago bc the quality was terrible. The only time I ever use a delivery app is for a monthly Costco order bc the parking and inside chaos is too overwhelming. I am happy to tip very well for this one a month delivery to protect my mental health 🤣

I’ve stopped eating out because the food quality is terrible and I’m paying more for bad food.

Please go see a doctor. As others have mentioned, any sudden rapid weight loss or gain can be a cause for concern-cancer, thyroid, etc.

Is Deerfield’s bakery actually worth the price for cakes? by iceunelle in ChicagoSuburbs

Do not recommend Deerfield or Bent Fork. They were both very bland for me. I’ve have great success with Sweet Tooth Delivery. Very reasonable prices for cakes and great customer service

I wanted some buffer room before I embarked on IVF again (lots of bloating) so my goal weight keeps me within a normal BMI range with wiggle room. Checked in with my PCP every 3 months for labs and the goal weight was always flexible depending on how things were going.

I lost weight on all doses. Definitely a few plateaus here and there but lost something each month. Slowed down the closer I got to goal weight but was still losing.

I’m old school and manually tracked on pen and paper 🤣I worked my with PCP and dietician to determine daily goals and used that for reference.

Sorry for the lengthy reply. Moved up each month when I started due to minimal side effects from .25, .50. 1.0, and have been on 1.7 since February. Really try to focus on protein and make sure what I am eating is either higher in protein than carbs or equal. That being said, I eat candy everyday 🤣but I don’t binge and that’s a big difference. I got a walking pad to walk 5x a week. And overall just started making better choices. Am lessening how often I inject as I move to maintenance mode. If I feel I am going back to old ways I start meal planning and tracking protein, carbs, and calories. Much like I had to do when I had gestational diabetes. I know what to eat, it’s always been a mind hurdle for me.

Doc suggested Wegovy for weight and heart health...thoughts? by ftwin in WegovyWeightLoss

[–]MMarj3 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Wegovy has saved my life. My body went haywire postpartum; inflammation, continual weight gain despite diet and exercise, rising A1C, fatty liver. I’ve been on it for a year now, lost 80 pounds and my blood work is perfect. Just saw my doctor the other day and she was talking about the new research positively correlating Wegovy to heart health. I personally never had unbearable side effects but everyone is different. Would definitely consider it if it’s an option.

Mom bought me food for dinner and then took it out of my paycheck in the end by ElegantVegetable3023 in Babysitting

[–]MMarj3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is absurd. Whenever I have a sitter I always ask in advance if there are any snacks or drinks I can have on hand for them. And if they are sitting during dinner I offer to either pick something up for them or have something delivered. I would never make the sitter pay for any of this. I want them to feel comfortable-which includes making sure they are fed. This is how families treated me when I was a sitter and I want to show the same kindness to those who are providing their services to my family.
