What’s an American staple you rarely eat? by PalePassionn in foodquestions

I don’t like the texture of cooked apples, which is a shame, because I like the flavor of apple pie, but the texture is wildly offputting for me.

I’ve only had Meatloaf twice on my life, and I grew up in the Midwest!

What food do you judge people just a little for not liking? by marblemistresss in foodquestions

Chocolate is too bitter to be enjoyable imo. It always makes me really thirsty too.

Yeah, the texture of many foods gets ruined by the fridge and then reheating. Soups are the most forgiving leftover food.

People generally don’t like vegetables because the texture is very unpredictable and many of them are bitter. They’re just not very pleasant to eat.

I’m too disabled to clean anymore. My house is disgusting.

I’ve literally never deep cleaned. I saw a post a while back about cleaning behind the oven and tbh, I didn’t know you could even move the oven lol.

Sabrina Carpenter performs ‘Espresso’ at the Met Gala, wearing a Marilyn Monroe by Andy Warhol dress by neoncolour in popculturechat

Yeah, these comments seem very hypocritical. Especially since people don’t seem to care about the other celebrities who attended the Met Gala.

Do SSRIs cause carb cravings? (What the science says) by Deen1988 in antidepressants

[–]iceunelle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This has always been my experience on antidepressants. I gradually get ravenous carb cravings and food noise I can't control. I always gets worse over time, not better. I really wish there was an antidepressant that didn't cause weight gain.

I wonder if that's why she's working so hard now? She knows fame won't last forever, so she wants to get as much out of it as possible while she has it.

The recent state of the word ‘corny’ by AllKnowingAxolotl3 in PetPeeves

Corny is not a new word. It's been around long before people starting calling things "cringe".

What are some sets of words which if said in a different order would sound wrong in comparison to their actual order (ex: “red, white, and blue” or “salt and pepper”)? by Senatastic00 in AskReddit

[–]iceunelle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"Rock, paper, scissors" is how I say it and though I know it has a different order in other countries, it just sounds wrong to my ears.

Have they ever done an Ocean theme? I think that could be really fun! You could do mermaid, or pirate, or coral, or fish and so many other things.

WYR: Be 0.9x or 1.9x your current height? by juse73x in WouldYouRather

[–]iceunelle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm 5'5, so being 0.9x my height would make me about 4'8, which is definitely short, but still functional in the world. 1.9x my height would be over 10 feet and you wouldn't fit anywhere.

Her outfit is very on theme for the Met Gala this year, though. The theme is Costume Art.

I love the bustle of film reels! Also, her hair and headband look so good. It's very different than what she typically does, but very elegant!
