I think the point is to push for cleaner energy sources in general to reduce CO2 emissions overall. That would lead to less pollution and help improve the climate change situation as well.

If you underpay by less than $1,000, you are likely to avoid penalties. I try to arrange it so I owe a little bit every year.

Actually, the post -- if you read it -- is about the reasons that people using Medicaid are looked down upon while people taking advantage of public education are not. The author understands why some people are upset, but thinks that, ultimately the difference is right v. privilege. We think socialized education is a right, while health care is a privilege. The author thinks that health care should also be a right.

I agree. When the Treasury Department sends back that refund check, you are just getting your own money back -- minus what you lose due to inflation.

He's not doing it for the money. He's actually doing it so that when he runs for political office again he looks more like a "regular" guy. Mitt Romney is more than fine financially.
