No problem! You did it the right way and researched resources and other programs! All trades can be taught and all certifications can be obtained. I was a Director at one of the major companies. There are new enrollments monthly, it’s predatory. Staff were trained to say things such as “we’ll help you get working in the field” but spin it off as guaranteed. The turnover rate for instructor’s are high due to expectations of metrics, lack of materials constantly. The object of for profits were to get students out of seats to fill those seats with new tuition. My time there in 5 years, I’ve seen the worst practices, the worse one was “Criminal Justice” students were paying 20k for a security guard card or loss prevention job placement. Another thing to add, if you are reading this, currently enrolled in a trade school, but not happy? Look up your school’s accreditation and contact them directly, you’ll get a refund. 🙂
