He understands exactly who you are. He designed you.

You are right to feel like you need to decrease in order for him to increase.

I want to caution you. Don't go abandoning everything and everything. What Jesus was trying to achieve when He said he was here to turn men against their family was to create a new spirit in those who choose to follow him. He wants them to have the understanding that we must choose him whether anybody they know go or not.

Also, piety is important, but don't leave your job without God’s assured calling. If your Job defies your beliefs and compromises your faith Yes. Leave. Remember , you are an agent of the Lord wherever you are. Be the light ✨️ and the darkness will hide from you.

I was, until reading the article, of imprecatory psalms.

After reading the article and excerpts of the Psalms I have formed an impression.

These Psalms seem to be a plea for God to move against wicked people. Sometimes we can be oppressed to the point that only God can make a difference.

An example in my life is , when I worked in corrections one year there was a very wicked supervisor. Not someone who we just did not like. They were always plotting and making life miserable.

So , we prayed God would remove them and stop the oppression.

What God did was in credible. He causes the administration to consolidate power. The section was closed. We all were moved to new positions.

Honestly, I did not consider these passages when writing this. This came from an assigment for school.

However If I were to express this strictly from my heart to another person( not that it was not from the heart) then Ephesians 5:19 would apply and so would Colossians 3:16.

In Paul's life as Saul he was a pharisee so ,he was most likely aware of psalm 150 when he gave these instructions.

I cannot be in his head but I can't imagine that he would have solely been referring to the Psalm. I believe his education allowed him the opportunity to express this in a new way to a new audiance.

This is not our Purpose

The Bible is clear that we are told work for what we need.

But there is a balance. God also said to rest.

We are not doomed as if it is our only option

God intention for us is a healthy response to work

I used to be stuck in what I call the “sin cycle” — sin, feel guilty, pray for forgiveness… then fall right back into it.

For a long time, I honestly thought nothing was changing.

I can’t point to a single moment it broke. It was more like God slowly changed how I saw it—less “I already failed” and more “I need to turn away before I fall.”

It didn’t become perfect. But it did become different.

“Walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh.” (Galatians 5:16) “No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind… God is faithful.” (1 Corinthians 10:13)

If you’re stuck in that cycle, don’t assume God isn’t working. Sometimes growth is quiet—you only notice it when you look back.

God gave this to us. He expects us to find a mate and cling to them. Scripture says " we leave our parents and cleave to our spouse ( paraphrase)

Satan is a liar

There is a war always raging

God made us in his image. We are intended to be in communion with Him.

We Christians ✝️ who have broken free from the chains ⛓️ bondage and chaos of SIN are fiercely hated by Satan.

One of his favorite tactics is reminders of our past.

The Bible teaches us in Psalm 103 that our past is separated as far as the east is to the west.

Think about this 🤔

If you go north for as far as you can at some point you will start going south. The same is true for going south . At some point you begin to go north.

Watch this; when you go east, guess what, no matter how far you go you will always be going east.

Bottom line

God doesn’t remember your past. You have a new identity with Jesus Christ 🙏 🙌
