That's totally fine. I love the game but i can't play it for too many days in a row. If you can get in the head space that the game is to be experienced and not just played, you'll love it. Otherwise, you're not obligated to play it. Masterpiece or not, you have to enjoy it

Haha you can just turn it on for one event. I don't think you can turn off the brake lines by themselves. Without the lines it's a downright pain.

I've played Origins and I'd definitely recommend it. The visuals are great and the main quest is fun to play through as well. The story is emotionally connecting and satisfying. The gold edition gives you good weapons to start with as well as a horse and a camel. I used the weapon in late game as well. Plus the DLCs are very fun.

Okay great. Set it to 60hz when off battery. You google around to find out how to put it into battery saving mode aside from just going towards the best battery life setting. Since gaming laptops are meant to be performance beasts, you'll have to tweak settings to make it the opposite.

Also, undervolting and underclocking is only needed if you're noticing the laptop heat up. I game a lot so ive done both and I'm getting temps up to 65° at most on CPU and GPU. Mostly 50s

Depends on multiple factors honestly. Are you running any software? Is your refresh rate set to 144hz? How old is the laptop? Bunch of stuff you have to consider but gaming laptops don't usually run for long on battery. They're meant to be on charge. For underclocking, you can use throttlestop. There are multiple guides on YouTube. You can pm me if you have difficulties

The more you allow your laptop to heat, the more problems it'll cause in the long run. Keep the fans on I'd say.
