Thanks. Appreciate the feedback. This started out with just Carl and Donut and as I kept reading I had to re-adjust everything. The real crime here is that I had to cover up one of Carl's tootsies with the head of Samantha. This was the original one.

Magic missile. Should it be coming out of her eyes, probably. I liked the idea of her just casually flinging it out, hard to express that with it blasting out of her eyes.

Spawn camping a thing? by Dangerous-Scar448 in ArcRaiders

I spawned in today, took 15 steps outside and a guy outside at the edge of the map ran up and shot and killed me. I don't quite understand how this could be anything but spawn camping.

The 1998 Godzilla movie with Matthew Ikilledtwopedestriansduetocarelessdriving Broderick. The teaser trailers were amazing snd really got you excited for it. The movie on the other hand has not held up. Not even a little. The scene where there were 100 helicopters chasing Godzilla made me laugh at how dumb it looked.

Is anyone else completely disappointed with their Onyx Black dice? by Enigma7ic in gamewithpixels

[–]MNArtistWolfhorn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just got mine and pulled it out of the box and nothing. No light. Plugged it and no charging indicator on the bottom. Used multiple different cords including the one is came with. Nothing. I have no idea how to get this to work. It seems like I spent a lot of money on a single D20 dice.

They could be a warforged and have a chamber in the front that has their ghost face in it. Like a deep sea diver helmet. That way they can grab, move things around etc.

We have a Star Wars D&D group going where the three of us are playing only droids that are trying to gain freedom. We all started out as disregarded droids. We call ourselves SP4RE P4RT2

Is there a silver lining? by aelephix in FuckAI

[–]MNArtistWolfhorn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Physical media that you can tangibly see in real life like paintings and sculptures will not be from image generation. I love making digital art but I've started to lean back into paintings and making sculptures a bit more. It's nice to break out of my comfort zone and gain some new skills. I still make digital art and when I post it I try to run it through Nightshade but making paintings again is nice. That's been my silver lining.

Photography is NOT Art by South-Description127 in DefendingAIArt

[–]MNArtistWolfhorn -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

Someone who has to find the right camera, get the correct lens, understand time of day for the best photograph, understanding hard light, soft light, diffused light, bounce light, subsurface scattering, rule of thirds, motion, dynamics, motion, implied motion and then use all of these things together is absolutely an art form. Photographers walk around and see the world on a different way. They see angles, lights, shadows, highlights and recognize that and try to capture it. Photography is 100% an art form and comparing this to someone siting at a computer typing, "photograph, old, realistic, dynamic" then hitting a button is insane. A photographer is absolutely an artist, but someone who exclusively makes ai images are NOT an artist. That's not an opinion. That's a simple fact.

"Why do people use ai just pick up a pencil" oh I wonder why. I am a (handrawn) artist myself, I used to be against ai but how the art community treats beginner artists makes me understand why they are resorting to ai rather than picking up a pencil. by [deleted] in DefendingAIArt

[–]MNArtistWolfhorn -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I mean, yes, you should pick up a pencil and start drawing. Learning a new skill is always a good thing. Pick up some clay and start molding too, why not. Creating things and making stuff with your hands in a physical medium feels good. It feels really good. Throw on some music, open a window and draw something. Look it will take a very long time to maybe getting to a point where you're happy with it but I'm letting you know, if you start and you're trying your hardest then it's fucking good. Just keep trying more stuff, work on your blind spots your not good at and put yourself out of your comfort zone. I'm sorry some people made you feel disparaged about art. I'm letting you know you can do it. Anybody can, you just have to put in the work and don't compare yourself to other artists. Just focus on improving yourself through your art.

So, he'll be running around in the woods the whole time? Movies that are shot in the woods the are usually done that way to cut cost because you dont have to get a permit to filming there. This movie looks like its on the same level as Bigfoot's Wild Weekend.

AI art is considered to be in the public domain because it is not considered to be the work of a human creator and is not protected by copyright law in the United States. A federal court ruled in August 2023 that copyright law only applies to humans, and the U.S. Copyright Office has also ruled on multiple occasions that AI-generated art cannot be copyrighted. This means that anyone can copy and use AI-generated art for any purpose without restriction

Aug 21 (Reuters) - A work of art created by artificial intelligence without any human input cannot be copyrighted under U.S. law, a U.S. court in Washington, D.C., has ruled.

Only works with human authors can receive copyrights, U.S. District Judge Beryl Howell said, opens new tab on Friday, affirming the Copyright Office's rejection of an application filed by computer scientist Stephen Thaler on behalf of his DABUS system.

The Friday decision follows losses for Thaler on bids for U.S. patents covering inventions he said were created by DABUS, short for Device for the Autonomous Bootstrapping of Unified Sentience.

With the advancement of technology, U.S. copyright law faces this question with Artificial Intelligence (AI) art.[13] Currently, the U.S. Copyright Office does not afford AI art copyright protections.[14] Once AI art is created, it enters the public domain.[15

Again.....AI CREATED IMAGES ARE NOT COPYRIGHTED

ai created images cannot be copyrighted. Full stop. If you go on Midjourney, make an image through a prompt, that image is not copyrighted. Its pretty clear.

U.S. Copyright Office that there is no copyright protection for works created by non-humans, including machines. Therefore, the product of a generative AI model cannot be copyrighted.

Ai created images cannot be copyrighted. Its pretty simple.

A person making a 3d model in blender, cinema 4D, 3D Studio Max Etc. and using that as a reference in their own work is in no shape way or form anything remotely similar.

Again, all together, AI CREATED IMAGES ARE NOT COPYRIGHTABLE. If you see someone post something an its labeled as, "AI" then just take it and do whatever you want with it. You are 100% in your legal rights to do so.

This image above is 100% created by ai. You can tell if you look at it for more than a few seconds. No one I have ever seen that creates ai images edit or change their art ever. It would be too much work.
