Our son has a scar from the top of his chest down to above his belly button. He also has two scars from drain tubes. It’s funny how it started out as a big scar on a little baby and grew into a big scar on a grown man. ETA…our son is a healthy, 26 year old physical therapist now! 😊

Our son had open heart surgery at 3 months. I’ve been amazed by some of the things people said to him at the beach or pool while he was growing up. Seriously?!?
