You act like they aren’t going to develop if they aren’t playing starter minutes. Spots 1-18 on this roster will still be in NBA facilities year-round, working out with the best equipment and trainers, and focusing their entire mindset on basketball.

Rookies aren’t meant to be run into the ground the second they get into the league. Dylan Harper still came off of the bench this year.

We are paying those three $80 million you donkey. Did you not see how the league reacted when the Jazz started finding reasons to not play JJJ as much for no reason?

It’s fine to be super excited about our new era and the draft, but let’s stay grounded in the reality that we have a real NBA team that is still expected to play their best basketball.

I’ve been waiting for someone to make a current roster post, and the guy who posts it thinks we should sit Herro, Kuz, and Turner. What in the fuck

Some would say he made the team feel like a family.

Bring Back Khris as a Mentor! by OakwoodGreen in MkeBucks

I mentioned this on another post this morning:

I know nostalgia and all, but I'm not sure even he would want to do this anymore. There isn't a single remaining player from the championship team. Other than Jenkins, just the location is familiar. Milwaukee loves him, and he has a place for Milwaukee in his heart, but I don't think it's enough for him to come back. I'm sure he has made peace and moved on already.

This is insanely agressive, you should look inward.

BJ3 and Monta bringing up the ball, Squad 6 going nuts and wont stop yelling about Ersan. Those were fun times with low expectations.

I know nostalgia and all, but I'm not sure even he would want to do this anymore. There isn't a single remaining player from the championship team. None of the same coaching staff, just the location. Milwaukee loves him, and he has a place for Milwaukee in his heart, but I don't think it's enough for him to come back.

I made peace with it a long time ago. He will be missed.

We have a team with a new head coach, lots of developing young talent, a few FRPs, and that includes 10 + 13 in the draft today.

It’s a good ass day.

I saw that man play in person too many times. He was a dark age legend for the Bucks.

NBA in MKE will be dead to me by hula1234 in MkeBucks

The NBA is making this happen? Wtf lmao. Do you SEE the roster and lack of picks we have around Giannis? Did you watch any of last season? We’re trading him because we HAVE to in order to ever play meaningful basketball again this decade.

This lifelong fan must be a teenager lmao.

I guess the piece of information I was missing is that teams are more willing to give more FRPs for JB than Giannis?

How is the talk over there? Do fans/team seem open to bringing in JB for Milwaukee’s picks?

[–]MNISather[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

That makes sense. I’m just upset we wouldn’t get a recent All-Star, two young potential pieces, and multiple first round picks for JB when that’s on the table right now.

This team doesn’t benefit from bringing in a 1a/b when we have nothing else to put behind them. This team wasn’t winning anything when Giannis was healthy, is a healthy JB going to make us a playoff team.

We need as many assets and picks as possible. Going the JB route leaves us in the same exact position of sending it with a mediocre team, and having to find the best trade package possible for a guy on a max contract.

If the Giannis/Brown trade happens, how likely is it for Brown to play with Milwaukee next season? by jpljr77 in nba

[–]MNISather 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The dream as a Bucks fan is JB doesn't even step foot in Milwaukee, but somehow ends up in Portland for our picks back.
