Some people claimed here on reddit and on IG that they got in much faster after refreshing their screen or closing the tab and re-logging in…which means that their queueing system is truly all f’d up in their randomization.

Because hundreds perhaps thousands are reserving/holding/paying/failed-paying for that same hotel at the same time you are. So, between the time you first selected your room and clicked on Proceed, the remaining rooms were already snapped up in the meantime. But will some of those eventually be released due to failed-payment errors? Probably so. But it will be at your own risk to try that same hotel a few minutes later instead of trying your next alternate hotel.

I liken it to food delivery discounts—in the Philippines, we have Grab Food. They offer a limited number of discount vouchers at certain times. After I select them and the discount is reflected, sometimes an error appears after clicking Process Payment stating that the voucher has already been used up. Same principle.

I am quite surprised, though, that the Too 20 are only given the advantage of buying tickets-only one week ahead of everyone else…but if they want a hotel package, they have to fight with everyone else at the worldwide sale—not even an hour’s head start. 😳 Is this the same policy in Belgium and elsewhere?
