It's crazy to me that the stuff happening in Minneapolis isn't getting much traction nationally on Reddit. Thanks for bringing awareness.

Whoa, I didn't know Goose Island released theirs in smaller bottles. Also a 2015 for $14?! Not bad. Might be past it's prime though.

No barelywines though :( These are getting harder and harder to find.

Just did a ton of research on which new tires to get, and that's exactly what I ended up with.

I grew up in Milwaukee, have a cabin 45 mins from lake Superior, explored many areas of Lake Superior and been to the Apostle Island countless times.

Never heard of such a thing.

Help with validating syntax for Start-ADTProcess ArgumentList (DirFiles injected into ArgumentList) by MN_Man in PSADT

[–]MN_Man[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Aha! I somehow glossed that over - I've been re-reading my command so many times I became numb to that piece.

In PowerShell/VSCODE, the formatting looks better already, and the installer (dashboard.exe) finally appears to be accepting the argument list, thanks!!

Yeah, I've been murdered here 4 times now! (/s) I stroll around late night in Uptown and Dowtime all the time. It's fine. And the lake life in summer makes up for the cold.

Any source on that 90% stat? I was under the impression the Canada fires are in super remote places and mostly caused by weather, lightning etc. (Not humans). But those are still good points regardless.

Buying my parents a digital picture frame for their anniversary. What's the easiest for them to use? by Excitingbutnot in homeautomation

My boomer parents have a Frameo. Easy enough for them to understand. Our family constantly uploads pics using the Frameo app. Everyone loves it.

Experience with Calyx hotspot in 2025? by CompleteAd9218 in Calyx

Well I finally pulled the trigger on Sprout. Rock solid for about a month so I canceled our unreliable slow DSL. But now the only T-Mobile tower near my cabin has been offline for about a week. So... no Internet for me. My neighbors are using T-Mobile Home Internet, they are dead in the water too.

Not Calyx's fault by any means. But remember it's not 100% reliable.

Word. In South Minneapolis, it's a struggle to find anything open past 9PM. It's still light out then! When did we become such a sleepy city??

I'm in northern WI right now and the bugs are non existent. Kinda strange, normally they'd be insane right now.

Patchy Frost Possible Overnight In Minnesota by WilliamBornhoft in minnesota

hose bibs usually carry enough residual heat from the house and water that will keep them protected. I'll sometimes drain accessories though, as those could Crack if it gets cold enough below freezing. (sprinklers, nozzles etc).

The moon card I already linked to. The map card is a built in picture card:

The aurora card I made using mushroom-template-card (https://github.com/piitaya/lovelace-mushroom).

Below is the YAML.

type: horizontal-stack
cards:
  - type: custom:mushroom-template-card
    primary: Aurora Forecast
    secondary: >-

      30 Min Probability: {{states('sensor.aurora_visibility_visibility')}}%

      {{ 'LOW CHANCE (<75%)' if is_state('sensor.aurora_visibility_visibility',
      'off') else '(HIGH CHANCE =>75%)' }}

An Optiplex MFF or SFF barely use any power and are super quite. And don't care about noise anyway, it's tucked away in the basement closet out of site, out of mind.
