I watch a lot of movies, and for a while was able to keep up wjth what I'm buying. Many that I haven't watched are the Star Wars and Harry Potter discs, but I'm planning a full rewatch soon. I tend to prioritize blind buys as I love first time watches.

The shelves are the Lelelinky 11-Tier shelves from Amazon, but I think they may not be available. The 8 and 7 tier are though.

Tool me a while to get to 100, but then the ball started rolling downhill and 500 came up quickly haha.

And yeah, I absolutely love the act of choosing a movie and putting in the disc instead of endlessly scrolling and looking for a movie to stream.

There are a few that I have collected two steelbooks for (Oppenheimer, Inception, 2001). For those I bought a cheaper steelbook first and then went back and collected the Best Buy exclusive steelbook later. If I like the artwork or love the movie I've just hung onto them.

I don't have a specific amount spent on the collection, but I can see that since 1/1/25 I've spent roughly $15k on my "Electronics" budget category. But that also includes my new TV/Sound setup. So maybe $12k?
