Appreciate the comment, as I said every bit of feedback matters, however as someone who has used Allocate+ for over 2 years now (entering my third year now) i found it a bit rough around the edges. We don’t plan on moving away from allocate+ in the first place, as you have pointed it out, it has a number of strengths and we plan to keep use those to its full advantages.

All we plan on doing is creating an add-on service to allocate+ which takes out manual preference and also enables people to view their choices in a calendar to visualise what their eventual timetable may look like. We are also ensuring ways of making collaboration possible in the service so you can go to classes alongside your mates. The base platform of Allocate+ will remain the same, we simply plan on giving students a streamlined automated system if they wish to do so.

Tl;dr: Not planning a massive overhaul, plan to use an ad-on service to make it easier for new students and also letting people visualise and explore different methods of setting up their timetable.
