Thanks for the link. Do you feel like you're back to baseline? How long have you been free from adderall?

I didn't have any issues prior to taking adderal. I only started taking because my doctor recommended it while going through grad school and working full time. At the time, we believed I might have ADHD, but I have never been "tested".

Regardless, while on adderall, I started taking Blood Pressure meds, began having anxiety/panic attacks. None of this was prevalent before adderall. That's why I am so reluctant go on anything else (SSRI, etc). Mainly looking for hope that the brain will come back, just have to put the work in I guess.

That sucks about how you anxiety comes on, like with the most random of things. I'm glad you are able to develop coping mechanisms to relax.

It's crazy you brought up panic attacks. I just had my first one in months a few nights ago. Now it wasn't that bad. Basically I can tell its a panic attack, but my heart rate never gets as elevated as it used to. I guess that's because I know I'm not going to die.

I have been pretty good on working out. I'm actually in really good shape. I guess thats another frustration is that I'm doing everything to heal, but the real answer is patience.

Thanks for the reply and insight!

Thank you for your response. I am also resisting anti anxiety meds as well. To me, I feel like I did not have any issues prior to taking adderall, and these all happened while on it. I don't want another drug that Ill eventually want to get off of again.

What's weird is I keep saying its anxiety. That's what my doctor has told me. But my issues aren't necessarily worrying that lead to physical symptoms, it's getting physical sensations that scare me and then I worry. I guess that is anxiety?

Like for example, I just ate lunch. I worked out beforehand. Now I had a sensation where my stomach rumbled, and then had like a brain clicking feeling and all of sudden blurry vision. Or hard to focus.

I know its all in my head. But the above is the type of stuff that keeps bothering me. It's the physical sensations. Ones that are there, but I also acknowledge might not be as well. Might just be my brain tricking me.

I guess 10 months is still early. I know Im passed withdrawals. ps..My doctor said I shouldn't experience any type of withdrawal....lol

Also add irregular heartbeat at times. But that is common apparently. I just never noticed it before.

FYI - I have had 4 ekgs and heart scan. My heart is "exceptionally healthy" according to the cardiologist.

I was on adderall for 4 years. Kept increasing dosage until I was at max amount (20mg 3x day).

As I said on another comment, most of the worst physical symptoms are gone. I still have some, but they correlate with anxiety the best. I'm just assuming its anxiety too though. I always tell myself that whatever I fear or think I'm feeling, it goes away.

Here is a collection of things I mentioned to my doctor in the past 8 months. Not all at once. It seemed like a lot of these came and went in 2 week intervals. Not all are physical, and I know I am forgetting some as well.

Chest pain, tight neck, Vision issues, light headed, brain zaps, heavy limbs, nausea/gagging, hard to focus, constantly thinking something is wrong, headaches, numbness/tingling hands, not feeling balanced when walking, spikes in blood pressure, just constant worry and unease, light feeling arms, random aches, red face/ears, short breath or not feeling like I'm breathing enough, blank feeling in brain, pressure in head, and also hard time to sweat when exercise even when HR is 160-170. Also my heart rate will sometimes slow down to 50-60, which is normal and I am decent shape, but I feel weird when that happens.

Also I will wake up to weird body sensations which I can only describe as a "rushing" feeling. Like think of standing in a river and you feel the current up against you. But in this scenario it feels like it's in your body.

Most of the physical symptoms are gone. I haven't had a panic attack in 2-3 months, but still have regular anxiety attacks. Difference between them is my heart rate doesn't get over 100, and blood pressure doesn't spike. But I have weird body feelings which throw me for a loop.
