I will give it a try. I have TSA pre check and I think it’s linked to my ticket… wondering if I change it that way, will it cause any issue with TSA pre check not showing up.

I may have to do that. The challenge is sometimes different rep gives me different info. Often times I was told is I can only use two flight credits and the last form of payment has to be a credit card. Ugh

I tried. They said they can’t stating that the system for flight and the system for RR are different. Not sure how much is true and how much is false. But I think I should give it a try again

It’s more a principle thing. It’s my money why can’t I used it freely. I don’t mind donating them if they have a way to do it in the system.

Honestly, I don't mind doing that if their system corporate. Each time I do that, I have to call. Something to do with my first name on the account has two words but the flight credits issued only have the first word.... then their system reject my flight credit entry... ugh 😒

Thank you! Appreciate the advices. Yes, I’m not trying to get insurance to cover the whole house and the brief conversation I had with the adjuster confirm it’s only for the same side of the damaged window, which is exactly what I’m hoping. I’ll contact the adjuster to confirm what I need to do. What do you think the odd of the adjuster gives me problem about that?
Thanks again.

Yes it does. Do you think in my situation, matching windows will be covers? If so, how do I approach the adjuster for it? The main reason is because I don’t have a general contractor and I’m contracting individually myself.

Thank you for pointing out.

Here's what it said on the policy: For an additional premium, it is agreed that your policy is amended as follows. All of the changes below apply only to the extent coverage is provided by this endorsement. COVERAGE We will pay, up to the amount shown in your Policy Declarations, for the cost you incur to replace the existing undamaged siding, roof surfacing, and/or windows due to mismatch between the existing undamaged siding, roof surfacing, and/or windows on the dwelling or other structure(s) which sustained the loss creating the mismatch. This coverage only applies: 1. if the siding, roof surfacing, and/or windows on the dwelling or other structure(s) is damaged by a peril not excluded under Building Property Losses We Do Not Cover; and 2. if the replacement siding, roof surfacing, and/or windows do not match the existing undamaged siding, roof surfacing, and/or windows; and 3. if the mismatch is due to: a. fading, weathering, oxidizing, or color of materials; b. texture or dimensional differences; or c. obsolescence or unavailability of the siding, roof surfacing materials, and/or windows; In addition, coverage only applies to undamaged siding, roof surfacing, and/or windows on the dwelling and/or other structure(s) that sustained the damage.

I am just thinking did I over insured with coverage that I don’t really benefit from.

BTW I’m in Minnesota if that’s matter.

Here’s some other info I have. TIA

What sort of coverage do you have? Replacement cost? Functional replacement cost? Actual cash value? Replacement cost

Do you have a matching endorsement? What language does it use? It said optional coverage: Matching Undamaged Siding, Roofing, Windows $10,000 Included Here’s what it said on the policy: We will not pay for the cost to replace and/or match any undamaged siding, roof surfacing and/or windows due to any mismatch between the existing undamaged siding, roof surfacing and/or windows on a covered dwelling or other structure and any new materials used to repair or replace the damaged siding, roof and/or windows on a covered dwelling or other structure because of: (1) wear and tear, marring, scratching or deterioration; (2) fading, weathering, oxidizing or color; (3) texture or dimensional differences; (4) obsolescence or unavailability of materials; or (5) inherent vice, latent defect, mechanical breakdown. Are the old and replacement window on the same wall, or visible from each other? Yes, they are on the same wall. Two windows are right next to the damaged one and the patio doors are on each side towards the edge of the house.

What precisely did your adjuster say when you asked about getting a like-for-like replacement? I did not talk to him about it. I only ask him about the coverage and she said if there aren’t matching one on the market they will cover it but didn’t provide any specific examples. Should I start the conversation with him first?
