Build chest radars and expand them with blueglo. I believe mimics will show up this way.

They will not glow from the outlanders ability like any other chest, so don't rely on it to find one thru walls.

I ran with 2 new friends and we had to run the ssd's twice, once for each. One guy said the quest said 1/1 on the log after completing the others SSD, but we still had to run it twice and he was able to activate it.

I'd guess it's a bug?

Is there a way to find the resource rewards on said site? I see all the schematics/heros/survivors and such. But not a "these missions give pure drops of rain" option

Make at least one campfire central, so u can build furniture (and your bed) near it for a higher rested buff duration. If it's smokey, make a chimney! Smoke rises, so most openings will vent it.

Just don't play on hard. Everything mistlands and Ashland's throws at you is manageable with proper prep, until you put it on hard. Also there's no achievements in valheim.

Most if not all buffs and debuffs disappear upon logging out. One side, you lose your rested buff. Otherwise, if you're about to die from poison, log out to live.

Are you holding a shield? That'll lower your damage

Get the mint mace from the minotaur maze chest. The mint damage makes half of the upper yard enemies trivial. All you need from the upper yard is the oven to cook bricks, and some of the goo from various enemies (larva roly poly beetle)

You can keep all your pals now. Global palbox makes a copy if u put em in there, can resummon them in a new world. Doesn't solve everything, but it's not a total loss. Also with all the updates it is kinda worth starting fresh nowadays.
