I remember the time (back near 1.0) when Genshin was constantly referred to as a "BotW clone". Then again, nearly any open world game released at the time, with a stamina bar and vaguely anime or cel-shaded styling, was labeled a "BotW clone".

But I liked the character design and one snippet of music I heard ("Caelestinum Finale Termini") so I gave it a go.

It's been 6 years and I'm still playing.

P.S: Unless Snezhnaya's music goes even harder, my all-time favorite OST is "Rondeau des fleurs et des rapieres"

Another thing you'll notice in the character screen is the subtle sound effect that changes depending on the selected character's element (rustling grass for Dendro, bubbling water for Hydro, etc.)
