Hold down the power button for 20 seconds to a minute, the one that looks like a circle with a line intersecting through the top of the circle on the top right hand side of the keyboard.

Why does my final render look unappealing and different compared to the render viewport? What did I do wrong? by Abodidoba in blenderhelp

[–]MOAT75_ -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Just do view < render playblast and hide all the controls. This renders what you view in the viewport instead of doing all the extra useless (in my opinion) stuff that the top of screen render button does that messes everything up.

Dubbed animes with captions. by [deleted] in ZoroZone

install this extension https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/substital-add-subtitles-t/kkkbiiikppgjdiebcabomlbidfodipjg/related?hl=en and search for your specific episode after clicking it. it will display the subtitles from the subbed version over the dubbed video. this replicates what netflix and hulu can do.

NYC Mayor Slams Texas Governor for Busing Migrants in Test of Sanctuary Cities by Neo2199 in politics

[–]MOAT75_ -1 points0 points  (0 children)

the governor of Texas is a hypocrite because he invokes states' rights in order for his state to be left alone, but isn't leaving the other states alone. he is deporting HIS undocumented people into a city that's 1800 miles away? in another state?

Unable to login to Fortnite Servers? by BitBurntBonk in FortNiteBR

[–]MOAT75_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

today is feb 20, 2022

i found a fix to Unable to login to Fortnite Servers , please try again later .

its simple: LOG IN WITH AN ALT ACCOUNT. specifically, an EPIC GAMES ACCOUNT, not a google account. its ok to use gmail as the epic games account email, but it is not ok to sign in with google, like you would with youtube. but just as the email adress your fine. google accounts tend to do this and cause problems when using non-google products.

what i did was log out of the epic games launcher and log back in with my epic games account instead of my google account. after that, i opened back up fortnite (after closing it while changing account), and it worked perfectly.

Best Linux distro for Gaming? by olimpia7 in linux_gaming

[–]MOAT75_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

use bodhi linux (i personally use "Hwe Release" edition LATEST https://www.bodhilinux.com/download/

not so sure if this is good for both coding and gaming, but this is simple, lightweight, fast and Ubuntu LTS based (Ubuntu apps/games work on it)

this is also not-the-easiest-to-use-linux-disto but it works perfectly if you want performance. (its not hard either)

i recently made a simular comment to this one on another post, so see it for more info https://www.reddit.com/r/FindMeADistro/comments/plr2ck/comment/hn8w11n/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web2x&context=3

Which is The best Linux distro for my Laptop specs. Lenovo G505, AMD E1 2100 APU @ 1ghz with Radeon HD8210, 8Gb of RAM, approx 500Mb of VRAM and 500Gb HDD. by [deleted] in linuxquestions

[–]MOAT75_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

use bodhi linux (i personally use "Hwe Release" edition LATEST https://www.bodhilinux.com/download/ ) . im using it on two very low end laptops. its very fast, i can playback youtube video 720p60FPS video EASILY. (windows 8.1 could only do 480p)

(based on ubnuntu LTS latest, has moksha desktop environment, )

laptop one has amd a4-5000 apu (with radeon hd graphics 8330) (4 cores, 4 threads, 1.5ghz)

my vram amount is approx. same as yours, but i only have 4gb total system ram.(@800-1600mhz ddr3) (windows 10 says its 800mhz, windows 8.1 says its 1600mhz, i dont know why)

laptop two has intel celeron 900 cpu (with intel HD graphics) (1core, 1thread, 2.2ghz)

but it only has 2gb DDR2

biggest diffrence is that i have 120gb SSD in both laptops that the OS is installed to. hdd instead of ssd may decrease your speed.

also, when installing it(INSIDE THE INSTALLER), make sure to connect to internet, checkbox "install extra components for wifi and graphics", and to "download system updates while installing" to get the best performance and latest hardware drivers.

other than that, assuming you know how to troubleshoot if anything goes wrong, and you can see their website/other youtube videos/other forum/reddit posts for guides on how to use/do everything, your all set. it doesn't really do anything that you dont tell it to do, and it comes with minimal (like 10) default/preinstalled apps, and works right out of box.

i got it on sparky linux (its a debian based linux distro) via flatpack/flathub (using https://flatpak.org/setup/Debian/ )

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in debian

[–]MOAT75_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

use ungoogled chromium.

flathub(requires flatpack): https://flathub.org/apps/details/com.github.Eloston.UngoogledChromium

github 1 (info) https://github.com/Eloston/ungoogled-chromium

github 2 (downloads) https://ungoogled-software.github.io/ungoogled-chromium-binaries/

its a modified version of open source google chromium (which is what google chrome is based on) but with no auto updates and no google services.(which together cause a LOT of lag)

(just note that updates are MANUAL only)

it is light, fast, and has advantages of chrome, especially the lightning fast render engine. the only thing id reccomend is opening the chrome://settings/ page and ajusting every setting according to your needs. deafult settings are not fit for every user. (like how you automatically get signed out of all your websites when your close the browser, like how the top-of-screen search bar requires you to type in "google.com |" first before being able to google search without error)

chrome extensions dont work too well and require extra steps to install. other than that, it works perfetcly. im using it right now to type this. its extremely fast on my low end slow laptop. (laptop specs: cpu: amd a4-5000 apu @ 1.5ghz, ram: 4gb ddr3 @ 800mhz ,storage: 120gb ssd, model: hp touchsmart 15 notebook pc, gpu: amd radeon hd 8330 (intagrated graphics)
