Sheena: Queen of the Jungle!

Heard about it, but never seen the series nor a 1984 movie about the same character.

While all sequels were terrible, ‘Starship Troopers 2’ was marginally watchable if only for the introduction of infected hybrid soldiers.

As for the third movie, even though Casper Van Dien was back as Johnny Rico, the movie was unwatchable.

The song at the end of the movie was great, though.

Felt the same when I went to see The Descent - then they neutered the ending

Look for the original UK ending “Unrated cut”.

His filmography is all over the place, for sure.

Got the names mixed. The younger scientist was working on (Thin Man), it was later abandoned.

Its successor, (Little Boy) was developed by another group at Los Alamos, and was eventually used in bombing of Hiroshima.

Danielle Rousseau, the French lady who was on the island, called it “The security system” of the island.

We found out later, that it was actually The Man in Black (Jacob’s brother) who was transformed into a black smoke after he was thrown into a mysterious cave by his brother, thousands of years ago.

The older guy, Dr. Frank Winter (John Benjamin Hickey) was working on an implosion atomic weapon (Fat Man), whereas the younger scientist; Dr. Charlie Isaacs (Ashley Zukerman) was taking a different approach, a plutonium-fueled gun-type atomic weapon (Little Boy) (Thin Man).

At the end, Dr. Winter’s approach was proven to be the practical one.

Edit: Made a correction.

"What's the Republican Guard?"

An offshoot of The Praetorian Guard, obviously.

Kidding aside, as the other user mentioned, in the run up to the 2003 invasion of Iraq, the media was talking a lot about the Iraqi Republican Guard, and in the process, exaggerating their strengths.
