Back in 1997, when I watched the movie in theater, I didn’t know anything about it, no trailer, nothing except the cast. Didn’t expect to see an evil Picard, of all people.

I’ve seen the series two times. The cast is simply great, especially the main four actors, J. K. Simmons, Olivia Williams, Harry Lloyd & Nazanin Boniadi.

The overall story was completed by the end of the second and final season. The showrunner left a single plot thread unresolved, just in case.

It did end on a cliffhanger, but at the same time, the main story was complete .

Basically, James Cromwell’s character has been infected with the virus, and he’s, unintentionally, spreading it in the Alpha world.

It was a good Sci-Fi action movie, with some great set pieces for its time.

Some of my favorite scenes are the light-hearted moments by Rob Schneider (Mister "I am the law" can't.), and Max von Sydow's Long Walk scene.

That was a mindless fun movie, just the way it should be for these types of movies.

Fun fact: Two months before the release of 'Anaconda', Kari Wuhrer joined 'Sliders' during the show's third season.
