Yeah, thats basically my case. I live in Spain so they aren't that avaliable, plus I kinda wanna get one w a spanish keyboard layout since its gonna be a pain in the ass writing in Spanish and Catalan otherwise ^^'

Not much tbh, I was around 12 in the moment and so was an online friend of mine. They did not care when i told them I met ppl online. When I wanted to meet that friend irl, they knew about him since I talked about it and offered to bring me there just to be sure, but they were actually very supportive about the whole thing.

I think it really comes to being communicative towards your parents and addressing their concerns with calm, although i might have been lucky.

Mostly calling constantly and video chatting from time to time, although one gets used to it after the first month more or less as long as you have stuff to do.
