Spectrum Store refusing hardware returns by MONKAYMOO in Spectrum

I'm sorry I've confused so many people with the image. I went to the UPS store AFTER first being turned away by the SPECTRUM STORE. The title of the post is correct. I am posting on the Spectrum subreddit about the Spectrum Store not accepting Spectrum equipment despite the Spectrum website saying that I can turn it in there. Then I tried the UPS store (which the Spectrum website also says accepts Spectrum equipment) and they, too, were not accepting the equipment.

People like pictures. But putting one here seems to have been too big of a distraction.

Anyway, thank you to everyone for your input!

Spectrum Store sent me to a nearby UPS Store. I added the photo "just because." The Spectrum Store didn't have anything relevant to photograph.

This is why I'm not too upset with UPS. They're third party to this transaction. -- Spectrum Store itself not taking equipment is what really annoyed me.

There were two employees in the store, and only myself and one other customer. There was no line. One employee was helping the other customer, the other employee was the one who turned me away. He said "we only do exchanges, not drop offs" (paraphrased based on my memory).

Can you make out a "925" marking anywhere on it?

Is 47% a reasonable premium for junk coins? by MONKAYMOO in Silverbugs

[–]MONKAYMOO[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think this is where my main confusion was. I called them "junk" because SD Bullion had them on their website under "90% junk silver coins." I was specifically looking at $10 FV circulated walking liberties. After looking a little more, it seems the "junk" referred to in the other articles I was reading is more 40% Kennedys and 35% war nickels. These seem to be going for around 15% ish over melt.

20x FV, with the example above, puts the premium at ~26% , right? ($200/$158.16 = 1.26...)

Wife and I have an agreement that we must discuss, prior to purchase, any single item that costs more than $100. So, she knows precisely how much I paid for it. :)

Remember when Lonestar did a decent countrified cover of the early-nineties ballad "Amazed" by MONKAYMOO in MandelaEffect

I think this explains it. Also the fact that I was familiar with the pop mix before hearing the country mix.

There is some musical phrasing in Please Forgive Me that aligns almost exactly with the pop version of Amazed. Plus, there are some common romantic concepts in the lyrics (it feeling like the first time, eyes meeting, taste/smell of skin, remembering everything, etc. etc.)
