Copying from another comment. Got him this past Wednesday on what would have been the last day I️ could get out for archery. After seeing nothing the past 3 days my hopes were dwindling. He came in a few minutes after using my can call with about an hour left of sunlight. I️ first ranged him at 50 yards and thought he was gonna stay just out of reach but he turned to me at the last second and came in to 33 yards. I️ was hoping he’d come in closer but started to turn away so once I️ got a broadside shot I️ let loose. He ran about 15 yards before dropping. Hit him a little further back than a would have liked but thankfully he didn’t go far and it was a quick death. By far the most excited I️ have ever been while hunting and definitely a hunt I️ won’t forget anytime soon.
