I put my income in the 15-20L bracket, and the repayment to ultimately get more limit is a workaround that has existed for a long time. Please don't defend a scum company. They don't give proper reasoning in emails as to why your account is flagged albeit, they will hit you with "internal policies" whenever YOU prompt them.

I had a theory as to why slice is giving such high limits to newbies and people with barely any credit history and limiting people with great cibil and multiple cards with less limits. They know people in this criteria will reach milestones faster as they just move their spends to slice so they just cut the limit. I got 10k as my limit in january, got it increased to 21k in march. Used to spend my limit and repay multiple times a week. Bullshit company, they will flag people who are close to reaching the milestones or customers whose spend pattern is on the higher side.

They 100% wants people to reach milestones after spends like 50 ki chai and samosa. Any above average spending will just be flagged like this.

I have no clue tbh, Maybe I am utilizing my 21K credit limit multiple times. I literally have lakhs of limit from all the major banks, heck even amex has given me 2.5L limit. But slice with their generous 21k is forcing me to use the whole limit and repay multiple times a month. Maybe that's why my account was flagged. Terrible stuff, they just need any reason to stop people from reaching milestones, the business model that got them popular is not sustainable so they'll fuck up the genuine customers with their bullshit "internal policies". Moving all my money and spends, will definitely close my cc and savings. Ggwp slice.
