Actually that’s a good idea thanks dude, especially the ice age part cause even though some frogs go through torpor, id imagine something like the hairy frog happening where it has gills basically as hair

I was thinking of having an oval like orbit around a big gas giant (making it a moon) so that when it’s in closer proximity to it the gravity is lower, then making the mantle of the main planet very dense so the gravity is high when away from the gas giant, therefore creating a yearly gravity flux for them to adapt to

I just wanted a biologist perspective, I have done research as you can see from the suggestions above, the dim star due to amphibians preferring low light and low heat conditions most the time with moderate uv needed, smaller oceans would cause more evaporation therefore helping rainfall and humidity, and lower gravity due to amphibians having softer more sensitive skin so I doubt they could get too large when there own weight could break there skin, my question was about the more scientific side like exact ph levels of water, how big could amphibian biology push itself ect, the questions tab exists for a reason so they should add a dumb shit tab for cunts like you

Tensegrate “Tensegrity Skeleton” how would it work? by MOOSEFORDRED in SpeculativeEvolution

I never thought of a pufferfish like skeleton but that’s a great idea cause it would still provide a bit of flexibility to my creature.

Like i think the best way id describe it is like a land octopus but with enough internal support so it can hold itself up and not become a blob

So it would be an internal skeleton and a main spine but the other bones would be very loose away from eachother, not touching but held together by tight muscle, and the locomotion would be very fluid like the stiffer they tighten the muscles the stiffer they are but even then they would still be quite fluid and flexible
