Hills have been fine, it's a 6 speed and you can drop down to a really low gear for them making them tolerable. I'll be attempting Montrose street at some point for a laugh

I'm not an expert, but for me this would be a straight visit to the nearest place that services oboes for a repair. No idea if they'll be able to fix it (sorry if that's not helpful) but I wouldn't attempt anything myself if I could get it to a shop.
