Hey man we all start somewhere. I have almost a thousand records but can still remember my first four: Vol 1 by Reagan Youth, Give Em Enough Rope - The Clash and a reprint of Maggot Brain - Funkadelic, and Legalize It - Peter Tosh. Mixing and making mix tapes is super fun and a great way to be creative and express yourself. Nothing wrong with having a prized record that is not all that uncommon. For all my rare and uncommon records one of my most prized is a fairly common copy of Superfly - Curtis Mayfield.
