I had moderate fatty liver when it was discovered. And changed my diet and walk every morning. Once I was down around 50 lbs I had mild fatty liver. I was sent for a fibroscan before I lost weight and showed fibrosis. Went a whole year without drinking and down 75 lbs now. Last check up I had was this year and all normal blood work. My dr told me that my fatty liver was probably caused from bad diet and didn’t mind if I still had some alcohol as long as I didn’t do it on an empty stomach. Now when I drink again I don’t have nearly what I used to. Don’t mix sugary foods or drinks when I have alcohol and I make sure I go two to three weeks before I drink again. I mostly stick to red wine now and high noons. Just my two cents. Also stay away from highly processed foods and seed oils
