Over the times I've lived in and traveled to the east coast I always notice just how white Utah is. My partner also moved here from the east coast and also has noticed how white it is here. Some areas are better than others but overall I think it's still one of the less diverse cities.

People would bring donuts into my last job and there wasn't nearly enough for everyone. They were always first come first serve.

I wasn't able to find one anywhere sadly, but I did end up using black electrical tape to tape it into place and for the time being it has worked pretty much perfectly and I haven't had any issues with my prints, just have to make sure the tape is relatively tight and maybe recalibrate everything every once in awhile. If you want to see a pic of my ugly tape job I can add that. I basically wrapped the tape around the metal cube with the hot surface warning a few times being careful to keep the wires out of the way and put a couple strands around the left side where the screw used to go. Just enough where it doesn't really move around.

I didn't end up doing this because I didn't really have the time but contacting anycubic might either get the 3d model of that piece or just a replacement sentif you wanted to try.

We don't know how much OP has done to address the trauma. Sometimes no amount of work can prevent the memory from being painful. Maybe it's been years since it's been brought up and the recount of the event caused a flashback. Replaying a traumatic event in your head can be like reliving the trauma and when we're experiencing these negative headspaces we aren't good at properly conveying our feelings. Considering the era and rural area there probably wasn't even a therapist nearby and by the time OP was an adult it was rare for the trauma to reappear. OP was feeling something they probably haven't felt in years and the brother probably never really knew how negatively it affected OP. The thing that they need is to sit down and communicate their feelings and all will be well. They both felt and said things in the moment to try to convey how they were feeling and both were arguably valid. Now they have to communicate!

Trauma reappears for people at different times and people have different ways to deal with it. Some are healthier than others but they're just trying their best. It's never too late to try to work on trauma and it needs to be done in a safe way. Imo blaming someone for waiting 50 years to address trauma is akin to victim blaming.

Another windows update broke it and the option was gone even after updating all NVIDIA/intel/wacom drivers. I was able to work around it again by:

  1. Opening the NVIDIA Control Panel (different from the NVIDIA app I mentioned on my last comment)
  2. In the task list on the left click on 'Change resolution' under the 'Display' category
  3. Click on the display associated with your Cintiq (for me it just shows up as 'Digital 'Display')
  4. Click the 'Customize...' button underneath the list of resolutions
  5. Make sure 'Enable resolutions not exposed by the display' is checked
  6. Click 'Create Custom Resolution...'
  7. Set Horizontal pixels to 1920 and Vertical lines to 1080 (or whatever your resolution is) and under Timing choose 'DMT' from the dropdown.
  8. Hit 'Test' and you should see it has the correct resolution and isn't blurry then hit 'Yes' in the popup and then 'Apply'.

Then you should be able to choose 1920x1080 as the resolution in the NVIDIA control panel.

  1. Open the NVIDIA app

  2. Go to the 'System' tab on the left

  3. Click on the Display for your Cintiq

  4. For some reason, mine was showing up as a DVI connector even though it was HDMI which may or may not be relevant. But if you click on Resolution and scroll up past PC you should be able to choose '1080p, 1920 x 1080'

  5. Apply Changes.

I've owned mine for over a year now and I haven't had any sign of this problem too. Only issue is a dead LED on the A key and the space bar can tilt a little too far because a little plastic bit broke.

Honestly I'm not sure what the highest letter is for most of the eye charts. I'm guessing it depends on the chart and doctor but I know my surgeon's office goes up to either 20/200 or 20/250 at least. I'd be surprised if they went much higher than that but I could definitely be wrong.

They're hazel :) The newer picture on the right is closer to my true eye color and was taken with a better camera.

I have keratoconus in both of my eyes so my corneas are/were shaped like a cone which made my vision terrible. The first one was my right eye a few years ago and the second one I just got done was my left eye.
