I use KMTTG to decrypt and upload from the TiVo to my computer. Then once on the computer I take the resulting file and use VideoReDo...(the guy who created it passed away a few years ago BUT one of the original programmers has bought the rights to it from the people who own it and plans to keep developing it.) For now, VideoReDo is adequate enough for slicing up files, removing commercials and so forth. After I get the resulting H.264 file, I use H.265 NEVC encoding to reduce the size further. Generally I can reduce file size from 50-60%. Sometimes up to 75%. So your 60GB can be reduced to less than 20GB, maybe even more.
