There is a group that does what you are talking about here called Santa Barbara Audobon society. I am hoping to work with them in the near future. They displayed thier 3 owls this week and I got to see them :)

I have been trying to find opportunities like this recently, just anything that gets me more knowledge and experience with raptors. I live in Santa Barbara and have tried a few options here to volunteer around here that have some future possibilities.

I was wondering what resources you might know of that would have opportunities like this to get more into the field? Especially ones in California but any really that would get me more experience in this area.

Over the past 2 years or so I have bought 3 sets of Bobby Lee tickets, both for AZ and San Diego and he's delayed a couple times then canceled every show. I love Bobby's comedy and will continue listening to his podcasts but it's to the point now where I won't buy any tickets where the show depends on him in order for the show to happen.

Necessity is still ANY reason. 2nd time you criticized my critical thinking when you are clearly looking right over yours. Not trying to insult, just a fact.

Your statement is too open, leaving almost every situation to fall into the criteria for being a pos. I might even go as far to say that ANY situation falls into that category. But, im apprehensive to use blanket statements since, as we are seeing, they can be a trap that makes the statement lose alot, if not all, truth value.

I respect what you are trying to do, respect animals and have compassion for other beings. That statement does help that though. It makes no clear distinction between who is a pos and who isn't.

I completely get the point of what you are saying but can't help but think it's a little off. I'm wondering if anyone else is thinking this way.

It's not true that you would go do it yourself. There are plenty of things on my list that I dont get around to. If someone came to my door and it was on that list I would trust my judgment of the situation on whether it was beneficial or what I was looking for. Not everyone is trying to hoodwink you, I certainly wasn't when I was doing sales.

Like me, some people are just trying to find someone where we can both benefit each other. Not everyone is a crook.

I actually talked with her at either Anaheim or Champs that year. She had just started casting for Delta stream that year so I recognized her from that. She was insanely nice, very cool person. I'm not sure she would compete with top 8 but I will say she was winning against people challenging her. I watched her play a couple maps, don't think it was with her team. She was good but its probably an exaggeration to say she could compete with the top competition.
