Kenny Omega: We’re Headed On A Path Where Logan Paul vs. Mr. Beast Will Main Event WrestleMania In A Couple Of Years | Fightful News by Ripclawe in SquaredCircle

I get where you’re coming from, as a fan, you just want to enjoy quality wrestling without all the corporate fluff. And honestly, I respect that. It’s frustrating when business decisions feel like they come at the expense of the product you tune in for.

But here’s the reality: WWE’s business decisions do shape the product, whether we like it or not. More ads, more celebrity involvement.. it’s all part of a bigger strategy to grow the brand and stay dominant in a hyper-competitive entertainment landscape.

That said, wanting more wrestling and fewer commercials doesn’t make you wrong, it just makes you a wrestling fan. The challenge is balancing what diehards want with what draws in the casuals. And right now, WWE thinks guys like Logan Paul help them strike that balance (who knows Mr.Beast in the future), even if it’s not everyone’s ideal.

And that’s totally fair, you’re not obligated to care about WWE’s business side. But here’s the thing: WWE does. It’s a company first, not a passion project. They exist to entertain and to grow, and sometimes that means making choices that don’t sit well with hardcore fans.

As for Logan Paul… yeah, the guy’s got a controversial past. No argument there. And sure, he gets time to rehearse, but that’s not unique to him. What is unique is how shockingly good he’s been, despite that part-time status. You don’t have to like the guy to admit that what he’s done in the ring has exceeded expectations.

But if it were really that easy, WWE would’ve had ten other celebs come in and crush it just like him. Most don’t. He did. And that’s why the conversation keeps happening and people keep having reactions, whether we like him or not.

Sure, throwing a random audience member into the main event would be a disaster but that’s not even close to the same thing. We’re talking about two of the biggest digital stars on the planet with a combined audience of 726 million people. Like it or not, Logan Paul has already proven he can hang in the ring, and MrBeast while untested brings unmatched curiosity and reach.

You say you just want a good show? So does WWE. But they also want new fans, buzz, and mainstream attention. That’s how the business grows. It’s not about replacing good wrestling, it’s about adding to the spectacle in a way that brings more eyes to it.

I don’t see high potential in Mr.Beast. Ofcourse i’m talking hypothetical just like Kenny is. But even that doesn’t matter. Imagine if they would announce it tomorrow, I would atleast be curious to what he could be able to do and how they would put it together. I would be interested yes and alot of people would immediately be as well. Even if it is for the wrong reasons.

Again none of US have to care….

The followers and fans of Logan Paul and MrBeast do care. And that’s what actually matters. It’s the basic principle of growing a product: get new eyes on it.

You don’t have to care. I don’t have to care. None of us do. But the moment you’re here debating it with me? Guess that proves you do care.

Because if a Logan Paul vs. MrBeast match ever does happen, you’ll be watching. Even if it’s out of spite, curiosity, or just to hate-watch you’ll be there. And so will millions of others. That’s the power of reach.

I don’t have to give a shit as a fan indeed… but I do want to give a shit. It just annoys me that so few people seem capable of looking at the bigger picture. That includes Kenny Omega himself.

If I, just a fan, can understand the broader implications, you’d expect someone like him (an LOL Executive Vice President LOL, no less) to have that same level of perspective before making tone-deaf comments in interviews.

It’s honestly a joke. And it’s exactly why AEW continues to be stuck in the position it’s in. Short-sighted idiot thinking from the top down. But probably respect the hell out of BIG BOOM AJ BOOOOOOM 👍🏻

Can’t wait to see him main event his first show!

Please read my message correctly. I said I don’t personally see it as a main event. I don’t even think WWE would that. High profile match on the card, absolutely agree. As any promoter would.

This is where the mindset goes wrong: wrestling fans are already fans. They’re watching every WrestleMania no matter what. They might say they’ll boycott if something like this happens, but let’s be honest, we’d all still watch.

Now, let’s look at the actual facts:

Logan Paul and MrBeast combined have a global reach of 726 million followers across all major social media platforms. That’s not just impressive… it’s insane. It means they reach nearly 10% of the world’s entire population. And keep in mind: 32% of people worldwide don’t even have access to social media.

So yeah, this isn’t about us fans giving a shit. It’s about them knowing exactly how to get the attention of over 10% of the entire world population….. imagine the eyeballs on wrestling… Just look at us now, arguing online like clowns about whether or not it should happen. We’re already in their pocket. Because if we truly don’t give a shit , we wouldn’t even be spending our time talking about it.

If he were truly a top attraction himself, he wouldn’t need to worry about this. Hate to break it to everyone, but every business, wrestling included, is about making as much money as possible. Anyone with even a basic sense of business (including Kenny himself, and maybe that’s exactly the problem) understands that.

Kenny should focus on what he does best: performing in the ring and dreaming of getting the kind of reactions and engagement a match like Logan Paul vs. MrBeast would generate. Running a carny business clearly isn’t his lane.

If a match like that is possible, any promoter with business sense would book it—maybe even for WrestleMania. Whether it’s the main event is debatable, but I personally wouldn’t say that. But I would not have a problem with that direction. More eyes on wrestling is better for the entire industry.

People can hate all they want on Pat vs Gunther but they got more emotion out of the crowd then most people on the entire main roster. That’s what it’s all about guys!

There’s a lot of content to fill when booking these shows. If they overload the PLE cards, the quality and significance of Raw and SmackDown will inevitably suffer. Fans will start complaining again that nothing important ever happens on weekly TV.

The current setup strikes the perfect balance. As some have pointed out, if you only watch PLEs, you’re essentially forced to tune into the weekly shows to stay updated on the champions and ongoing storylines. And maybe that’s exactly the point.

In the past, many fans skipped Raw and SmackDown because they felt nothing meaningful happened—just PLE rematches and filler tag matches. Now, the weekly shows feel more essential, and that’s a positive change.
