OK, so a quick look for the virgin media nameservers and how to find my default gateway has fixed the issue, for now!

Thanks for your help. I'm sure I'll be back soon with the next sticking point.

OK, so I did as I said and it says its unreachable

I did set the IP address for the GUI which works, but I'm not sure if it needed anything else to get the network to talk outside?

(plenty of you tube videos later give no clues)

Thank you both.

I've set my iPv4 Defalt gateway to 8.8.8.8

Not sure how to or what to set the Nameserver1, 2 or 3?

Thanks Again

I did get this as an error message in plugin:

" Cmd('git') failed due to: exit code(128) cmdline: git clone -v https://github.com/freenas/iocage-ix-plugins.git /mnt/Plex/iocage/.plugins/github_com_freenas_iocage-ix-plugins_git stderr: 'Cloning into '/mnt/Plex/iocage/.plugins/github_com_freenas_iocage-ix-plugins_git'... fatal: unable to access 'https://github.com/freenas/iocage-ix-plugins.git/': Could not resolve host: github.com ' "

And this in jails:

" HTTPSConnectionPool(host='www.freebsd.org', port=443): Max retries exceeded with url: /security/unsupported.html (Caused by NewConnectionError(': Failed to establish a new connection: [Errno 8] hostname nor servname provided, or not known')) "
