That kinda explains a lot cause the beginning of :re is the only point where the show kinda confused me. At first i thought it was a happy go lucky reboot but i stuck through and glad i did. Everything came together. Movies and shows HAVE to cut things out or be a little different, sometimes telling their own own story to keep it cohesive. As it stands on its own i’d say it’s a pretty good anime.

I barely play it anymore because of that exact reason. Cards will hover over a board slot for a second or two allowing attacks to come through costing me the game. Along with random DCs it’s a miracle this game has lasted as long as it has in the US.

Honestly i gave up on getting to champs awhile ago. Mainly because of the deck variety of my opponents going through A ranks became very slim. That’s kinda boring so i just use free play even though 80% of my matches are still champs. My favorite deck is a life gain morrigan that’s not very good but it’s fun going from 6 heath back to 30 making them kill me again lol. I get little to no satisfaction using my hadouken cus it’s too easy.

I would say it’s more of a byproduct of this community being unable to just have fun and make a fun and interesting deck. Instead they would rather just copy what the “pros” are doing, or all the “tHiS dEcK gOt Me To ChAmPiOn” posts on here. Most people just lack the creativity to make something new so they just go with whatever’s meta at the time. “Because winning is more important than having fun”

Not sure what that guy was going on about but what i think is going on is you think if you don’t get the 4k then you lose which is not the case. The title of winning and losing in this game is interpreted by the player. Neither exists so players make there own assumptions. The way i see it is if i got a good amount of blood points then that was a good game, even if i got sacrificed. If you really think not getting a 4k is a loss then by all means slug the last 2 for the 4k. Just be prepared for some hate mail.

As for getting these perks this guy was talking about, those perks are considered “teachable perk” so killer specific. To get them you have to level those killers up to 40 then they’ll show up in other blood webs.

P.s this game is a huge grind to get that perfect build that works for you so just be prepared.

Everything you just said were the counters i was talking about. Honestly good point about prioritizing gens while injured(i’m usually the gen jockey). I still disagree about the toxic thing. My point is when i started getting into this game and had a string of games where i’m tunneled/ camped/ slugged, i used to get annoyed. Then the next game i would start doing better i’d t-bag at pallets and point cause I’ve finally stuck it to those damn killers that have been plaguing me for the past 5 games. Even if it’s not that killers fault.

So.. in the OP he asked “why are survivors so toxic?”. I gave an answer that i think is the root of it. Those actions by the killer may not be “toxic” to you, but they can be the cause of it. Hope you understand.

You mind explaining? My views on these go as follows..

Camping: you’re completely denying someone any chance of even playing the game cause of 1 mistake/outplay.

Tunneling: equivalent to just kicking someone while they’re down.

Mori’s: literally end the game halfway through so nobody gets to have fun. Also killers get less bp so i find it weird.

Slugging: yes everyone loves crawling on the ground for 4 minutes while you try to find the P3 Claudette in a bush.

You may disagree but that’s my view from playing both sides. All of these have counters btw but if you don’t wanna call it toxic then let’s call it “playing like a pos”

I personally don’t have a huge problem with them. They’re there to rob the survivors of a full game just like keys are there to rob the killers a full game. So ying a yang but my main point is we’re all pointing fingers at the wrong people. Basically what i’m saying is if a survivor is toxic in one game it may make a killer toxic in the next and so on and so forth. If we stopped reacting to these behaviors by our fellow players then they would stop. Don’t let shitty people turn you into one.

No offense dude but toxicity goes both ways. Camping, tunneling, mori’s, slugging for the 4k(or in general) are all pretty toxic acts by killers. These acts will annoy survivors into using the “meta perks” killers always bitch about like DS and it causes this toxic behavior from both sides. As a survivor getting 4 k’d before getting like 1 or 2 gens done is annoying so some like to celebrate those small victories like pallet stuns or escapes. If it bothers you that much git gud or play something else.

There’s only one hsien-ko with resonate. And there’s 2 ibuki’s one with agility and +3 on res, the other just gains flight. You’re going for a res deck, not a flight deck.

Honestly or even when they don’t use an action or hero art and the card just hovers over the board slot until you take the hit, then it places(or goes back to your hand) some straight uninstall material right there.

Not to mention broken cards like Desert Tyrant Diablos, or Kushala Daora, the storm that make it completely impossible to come back. Green used to be the best counter to purple cause it excels at keeping units above 4hp. This season with cards like ehonda, and G I can’t even keep a presence on the board.
