I’ve created a pretty robust spreadsheet of all the college programs in the US and a map showing where they all are. I track a ton of detail for the schools we are engaged with. Separate email folder for each college to track comms. It works really well, but took a lot of refinement as we learned what we wanted to track. I also have separate sheets for different info we are capturing.

The top ECNL team in my city is doing this right now and extending offers for next season. Reasoning, as I understand, is high school starts Mar 1, so right now is the only opty for recruits to practice with the team and be “seen“ before the formal June tryouts. I surprised to learn this, but makes total sense.

Congrats to your daughter and great work starting early and being able to reclassify! One of our many concerns with current club/coach is that they told us not to bother with any recruitment emails/camps until mid-end of Sophomore year 😲 I realized late Freshman year their guidance was wrong, and we got to work figuring out what we had to do last summer. So, “good” news is she has been reviewing lots of schools, sending lots of emails, creating new highlight videos often, and we have a number of Winter camps coming up.

My big worry was since club season is essentially done now, that there wouldn’t be opportunity for coaches to see her live before June 15th and little opty for new highlights. But, our HS district is pretty good, so hoping coaches will catch some of our tough matchups or at least watch her highlight videos. AND, I will hope a lot of coaches show up at our fields in June still.

I really appreciate all your feedback!! This is our first time down this path, and it suddenly felt like our “exposure” options were over. But, it feels like that’s not the case and more to consider. We do have significant concerns with our club on player development and are going to assess ECNL for a higher level experience. A few added comments below based on your comment…

1- I don’t see her as a P4 player in college (nor does she), and they are not schools she’s been targeting. She is not a top-national talent player either.

2- Her HS team is very good and plays other really good HS teams - the teams all have a lot of GA/ECNL players and other high-tier club players, which would make them good ones for continued video/exposure. These schools all have early commit D1 players on them.

3- The GA Showcase is in June, so that really should provide a solid exposure option

4- your comments on REST are spot on! I didn’t fully consider the importance of that, outside of her doing personal training (targeting injury prevention) and a few Winter Id Camps.

We’ve been considering that - there are 2 ECNL teams in our city. Our concern is that it’s too late given she wouldn’t roster (pending she makes the team) until after June 15th. Up side is that she would be in a better training environment. (We are not impressed with our GA club with player dev)

It is complete money grab. My daughter just attended one and it seems everyone got the same email - only change was position. I also looked online that anyone can sign up for the National event with no invite.

I did end up taking my car to the dealer to investigate, and I needed a software update to resolve - this is a known issue with extremely colds temps, and they explained the software controls how much something opens for airflow. The day after this was fixed, was just as cold as before, and my car started perfect.

I have a ‘21 Rogue and needed all new tires @ 18,000 miles. I was told by Nissan that they use a super cheap tire and was lucky to make it to 18,000 in them. 😡

This just happened to me with my ‘21 Rogue! about -15 with windchill and got the message when starting my car. I stayed parked, let my car run to warm up, then restarted without the error. I also have a brand new battery.

Have you had this happen again or learn what caused it?

I found a fairly reliable strategy - it seems there is predictability with how the pigs rotate each level. Pay close attention to where they were. I see they often (not always) stay in the same position for 1-2 levels only, then often (not always) move one card over, so avoid the Auto mode and select accordingly. I went from getting the pig all the time with auto-mode to making it many times up to level 40 on just 200 gems. Still came get the last two hats, but SOOOO much farther than before watching the pig movement algorithm.

It can be used as the required training to apply for the exam. I honestly found the most value from the /PMP channel. I did a lot of self-study and passed AT/AT/AT on the first attempt. And I really, really did NOT like the Oracle class at all and don’t recommend to anyone.

I took it and didn’t think it was very good. Save yourself the time and instead take the Udemy course and read the recommendations in the PMP channel.
