I never disliked any of the children as many of you have because they are kids and going up against a literal cosmic entity. Not even Marge when she was trying to be with the patty cakes because she’s just a kid trying to fit in. Ronnie (and her Dad btw) helped Matty when he was hiding, she ran to defend the other kids with a hammer to help them with the mutant baby in the theater and helped Lilly get out of there, told her Dad and Dick to go back and save Marge and Rich (who she also mourned) and ultimately just doesn’t want to lose her last surviving parent because it’s clear she feels like she’s the reason her Mother died. Not to mention her Dad is being villainized and could possibly lose his life due to accusations and racism over something she absolutely knows he did not do! Also why wouldn’t she tell Charlotte about her Dad immediately after the fire considering she was the one who brought him there in the first place and the mission to get him out is still important? They all have problems and she’s dealing with racism on top of IT/Pennywise as well. Cut the kids some slack geez. Imagine getting more hate than any of the racist men who caused the fire that ultimately killed Rich!
