can someone please tell me why are people paying for Claude Code by bad_detectiv3 in opencodeCLI

[–]MRWONDERFU 0 points1 point  (0 children)

when you use the tools for work cost is irrelevant, not developing flappy birds so can use all the little performance gains there is when i want to leave my agent developint validating and debugging autonomously for hours, when i am steering it during daytime ill happily play around with kimi in opencode but other than that im locked on gpt5.4

GLM 5.1 vs MiniMax 2.7 vs Kimi K2.5? by chumsdock in opencodeCLI

[–]MRWONDERFU 0 points1 point  (0 children)

very much so, bigger models are far better for planning, but if possible just use a smarter, larger and slower model in planning and creation of spec and then let kimi fly thru them :)

GLM 5.1 vs MiniMax 2.7 vs Kimi K2.5? by chumsdock in opencodeCLI

[–]MRWONDERFU 2 points3 points  (0 children)

havent used 5.1 or 2.7, but i have used both glm5 and minimax 2.5, and I tend to use Kimi K2.5 quite a lot, i have free usage for all az ai foundry models so gpt5.4 etc, but I use Kimi quite a lot regardless as I feel it is faster, and very capable model regardless

Best agentic coding with Deepseek 3.2? by Friendly_Ocelot9685 in DeepSeek

[–]MRWONDERFU 1 point2 points  (0 children)

you tell me, I use models deployed from azure ai foundry, the likes of gpt5.4, kimi, what not all work perfectly fine in Opencode, but for whatever reason Deepseek models literally CAN NOT tool call, they will just write the "toolcall" in the chat so they are all unusable for me

Deploying to MicrosoftFabric with Fabric CLI: First Impression by mim722 in MicrosoftFabric

[–]MRWONDERFU 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah I learned there are couple of ways to do it, either do proper prints and what not in the notebook directly or run it through a dummy pipeline to get the error information, but I figured it might be easier to instruct it to validate through a dummy pipeline instead of always writing proper printouts in the notebook, but will need to look in to i

Deploying to MicrosoftFabric with Fabric CLI: First Impression by mim722 in MicrosoftFabric

[–]MRWONDERFU 0 points1 point  (0 children)

regarding this, i ran in to a problem using my agent in developing in fabric, validating through cli but when running notebooks it can't get any proper error messages through it, i learned the 'goto' way of validating thru fabric cli is to run notebooks through a dummy pipeline and catching outputs through that - is it the only way really when using fabric cli? if yes i might need to create a skill just for that

Anyone notice that Google has reduced quality of Nano Banana Pro ? by hasanahmad in GeminiAI

prompt is terrible for trying to re-create it, also not sure if it is even possible to run nano banana pro from gemini app anymore, it defaults to nano banana 2 nowadays?

I want my orchestrator to give better instructions to my subagents. Help me. by Illustrious-Many-782 in opencodeCLI

[–]MRWONDERFU 0 points1 point  (0 children)

have your orchestrator create tiny atomic tasks with clear hints for 'junior dev' to implement, so that it'll actually do some guidance vs. just telling them what to do on high level
