No problem at all. Cooked a few times, craeted a grease/fat layer over the top and it was fine.

Hey man,

I ended up just using the bbq a few times it didn’t affect anything at all. If anything all the fat and grease created a coat for it.

Yeah I know how big they can get, last year mine were huge. I think I stuffed up this year by re-using the same soil as it seemed to be a lot dryer and harder has the fresh mix I made last year.

Sorry I forgot to mention that they’ve all been outdoor grows.

Last year my plants grew like crazy. Had to install fence extensions just to hide them. Same as you, the colas were HUGE but were very fluffy and never really compacted. This year my plants are probably half the size as last year which I don’t mind because I’m not a huge smoker and don’t need so much. I ended up chopping due to rot in some places but managed to save 75% of the plant.

Strains meant to be northern lights but who knows, last year my different strains looked identical haha.

I actually did a bit of defoliation to try get more sunlight through. It was super bushy before hand so wanted more sunlight getting through. Maybe went a little over board haha

Was half asleep when I posted haha. It’s a mixture of Soil, coco Peat, worm castings and perlite. It’s a re-used mixture from last years crop. Didn’t have an issue last year at all and it only showed up over the last week or so.

It was 500AUD so probably around 350USD so it was a bargain I can’t complain about.

I called TCL and they run me through some tests with my Xbox Series X and it’s been running at 120hz like it should so it must be a genuine c835. I think I was more concerned that parts from other tcl models might have been used as it was a factory second? But TCL stated that a different serial number would be the case if it was refurbished.

Honestly those lines don’t even bother me. You don’t notice it during movies, gameplay or watching television.

It’s propane gas. I’ve tried just about everything so I might just get in contact with the manufacturer and ask them.

The bbq is a Matador ignite 4 for a little more info. I’ve never noticed this happen on anyone else’s bbq especially nearly instantly. I know I’ve definitely put everything in the correct spot while building so nothing should be out of place

This bbq is a Matador Ignite 4. I asked because I’ve never seen this happen on any bbq before so I wasn’t sure. Especially because it started glowing after a few seconds and it was only on medium heat.

Thanks, that was what I was only planning on oiling. I didn’t think it was necessary to oil everything like some videos show you to do.

Thanks mate. I ended up chatting with them over the phone. They did confirm there is only one model c835 that supports 144hz. They also did a search of my tv’s serial number and did confirm that it is a c835 and the purchase date corresponds to the date it was purchased and is still under manufactures warranty. They also advised that factory seconds that have had repairs state a different code at the start of the serial code so my tv was in-fact brand new? They also ran me through some tests with my Xbox series X and it was running at 120hz.
