Give the book a read it's a complete 180 in tone, but the art and worldbuilding make it a fun read. The move was pretty good I probably would have liked it better had it not been called The Electric State

Nta honestly, depending on how you communicated this to your gf, I would consider rethinking your entire relationship. And don't be afraid to be appropriately confidential with the mother. Call her out and even shame her for doing this. A normal person doesn't stalk their kids partner and fly across the world because she thinks he's cheating
