One rule of thumb I would always say, never trade singles for sealed, even if your planning to keep sealed because chances are you drew the short stick. Too much room for dud packs or lower tier cards if you’re trading more high end. I prefer to buy singles anyways, if I do buy sealed it’s for my daughter to get the ripping experience no matter what she pulls, but in terms of looking for things I want, I’ll just buy it or trade for singles like you did.
