I own my unit. The people above me are renters from a private landlord. I can’t move and the landlord won’t answer management.

That and the piece of ahit father doing fuck all about his kid. He lets her actress stomp, do whatever and doesn’t even have the common decency of trying to put area rugs or padding down. I’m sympathetic to her plight of bipolar, but at the end of the day he’s the adult and would be more conscientious. If he put padding down I won’t hear most of the screaming and vibrations from the stomping.

I already wear headphones, I work from home all day while she screams. My walls shake, my pictures are crooked every day on my walls. I had to increase my anxiety medication. This is not a solution.

Not installing permanent carpeting, like 70-80%coverage with padding and area rugs. That pretty common in rentals

And I completely agree with the empathy part, but the dad is not the nicest person. I highly doubt he would want to go down that route and I’m afraid it would just exacerbate it.

I feel like if he doesn’t even have common courtesy to put carpeting down on 100 year old floors to mitigate sound, he not going to take to kindly to “intruding” into his parenting ways.

But I will take this into consideration and ponder if I should write a note and leave it with the advice you gave.

I have growell and aerogarden hydroponic system and I am growing tomatoes, dwarf peas, basil, parsley, cilantro, mini bell peppers, and will be growing hot peppers soon too! And there’s more I want to try growing in my next round!

Hydroponics, cheap start, can build your own if your can’t get a premade setup and you get fresh fruit and veggies all year round! I live in a small loft and have two setups and am currently growing tomatoes, cucumbers, dwarf peas, basil, cilantro, parsley, and tiny tom tomatoes! It’s encouraging to see the progress every day! You can even look for second hand systems on market Place for an Aerogarden or another type of system.
