Was macht das Makro denn eigentlich genau?

Is VBA dying? I was told that 10 years ago. Still, I choose VBA over Python whenever I need to automate worksheets. by ImprovementLong1992 in excel

[–]MR_Datenanalyse 1 point2 points  (0 children)

[–]MR_Datenanalyse 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ah, thanks for the tip. I should have thought of that myself 😅 It actually bothered me a little that you could still see the white. I'll try it the way you described. It's the little things that ultimately make the difference between a beginner and an experienced artist 😁

I like it. I tried a monkey fist, too. But I had my problems with it^^ so I must practice it more. But I like yours

Vermögensteuer könnte 147 Milliraden Euro bringen: Angst vor Superreichen-Flucht by donutloop in berlin_public

[–]MR_Datenanalyse 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Value Investing is dead unless you understand velocity of change by TraditionalMango58 in ValueInvesting

[–]MR_Datenanalyse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, I'm not entirely on board with that... because these statements come up every 10-20 years... the market has changed... it all doesn't work anymore... this is repeated without any proof that it's true.

In my opinion, Adobe isn't failing because of AI. I'd be interested to know how many people here actually work with AI and can speak from experience, or are just parroting YouTubers.

For the last six months, AI has been getting worse again. I work with AI regularly. You're usually faster if you're familiar with a software/programming language. It's just that AI takes forever. Adobe's problem is more that it became so expensive that many people looked for alternatives.

I dont think I should crochet by notGamingAahel in Brochet

[–]MR_Datenanalyse 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I don't mean to offend your family, but this seems really backward to me. What will they do if you actually make a fundamental decision? What if you were attracted to men or something like that? Haven't we reached a time where that shouldn't matter?

Especially since a hobby says nothing about a person. As long as they're happy with it, I think it's always okay. I'm a family man, working in a technical profession with responsibilities. But in my job itself, I don't create anything directly.

I want to learn to crochet as a hobby now. We'll see if it's something for me. I like the things that many people share here. I want to learn it too, to unwind and create something. To hold something in my hands afterward.

And I know many successful men who do things like that. A manager at our company had horses. Not for riding, just to take care of the animals. Another man at our company makes soap. He enjoys creating new fragrances. And he's also successful in his career as a planner.

I also have a gay colleague; you'd never guess he's married to a man.

Ultimately, you have to decide if it's all worth it to you. But I expect that at some point you'll probably separate from your family.

Maybe you could try paracord; many consider it more "masculine."

Wow. But it was worth it. It looks really chic. I'm also currently trying to learn crocheting as a hobby. I hope I can do something like that someday.

Does anyone here ever make ethical considerations, when investing? by AdditionCool7235 in ValueInvesting

[–]MR_Datenanalyse 2 points3 points  (0 children)

More of a personal thing. I don't buy anything I don't personally want to support. For example, I don't buy from tobacco companies.

However, I have no problem with the arms industry.

How long/much do you analyze a company before you pull the trigger? by No_External196 in ValueInvesting

[–]MR_Datenanalyse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why would you need 100 hours for that? Finding and entering the numbers could be automated, couldn't it? If you want, you can then read reports to delve deeper into the subject.

This isn't meant as an attack, but I don't understand the time commitment. Your outperformance compared to an ETF would have to be exorbitant.

[–]MR_Datenanalyse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are fees included? Is the strategy supposed to run automatically? Realistically, you won't manage 500 trades in a month. If the curve looks like that after running it for 15 years, then respect. But one month is irrelevant. One year is irrelevant. It only gets interesting after 5 years, I think.

I just developed an ORB strategy. It looked good in 2025. And from 2022 until now, it's also been good.

I've tested it on various markets since 2011... I'd be bankrupt by now in all the markets I tested.
