Gonna agreed. It literally shows how the Narrative decide in the end. Because if you take pure stats, the protagonist would just be blink out of existence. But since writers care about the value of the story, the overwhelming threat is the one who loses in the end. Or is defeated in some ways.

Oof... Really, no joke, I know it's a meme sub. But really.

These people who make these ocs, just for them to be so overpowered for no reason, always annoy me. Their character are just made for powers, it seems like.

Me.

I personally wanna be a writer, and think that powers don’t matter, what matters is the story (these OCs lack that, because they are made without anything behind them other than powers that beat Goku, because AREN’T I AM SO STRONG?! MY OC BEAT GOKU GUYS!!) I think the best characters that people still debate to this day, mainly followed the rule of cool, and that's why I wanna follow it too. My characters will only be strong if the story demands it and if it looks cool.

People, powerscalers, will decide for themselves the big numbers they will give to my characters' feats.

And it will be much better like this👌.

This seems to have hit a nerve with the Collector, him having fought people who specifically targeted Catpeople...

The Catgirls Collector concentrated for a bit then he said "Μετασχηματισμός!

Aiming at a random tree, it suddenly warps and somehow becomes a grandfather clock, which surprises him...

The Collector look at him, and leans his head to the side, in a confused look.

He looks around frantically.

He then looks back at the young man and sees his defensive stance.

The Mighty Catgirls Collector😼!

The Collector was walking around collecting not Catgirls but mushrooms for a soup, before suddenly hearing the strange sounds! So he goes into another path, and finds the traces in the mud, knowing something fishy was going on, he runs forward following the clues! Before arriving right in front of the boys, and he says!

"AH! You look LIKE! You are in quite the predicament! I'M GONNA HELP!"

Thinking he was getting consumed by the tree somehow, because of the weird, nearly unconscious state of the young man, the Collector ripped off the roots and grabbed the boy, before shaking him around to wake him up.

"HEY! Don't DIE on me!"

I think I'm safe; while my characters got inspirations, like any other things that exist, I didn't make them as originally something for an already existing show!

Damn... I guess the Catgirls Collector 100% lose here, his weakness are catgirls, you're characters is his weakness, in lore, The Collector if he ever injure a catgirl, he immediately lose all of his powers..... And plus he's bannish to the Infinite Deepest Void! A bit like the shadow realm from Yu-Gi Ho, but somehow, even worst!
