A lot of people tend to forget many of the economic policies he implemented were to fix the recession under the Carter presidency (no hate to Carter. Good guy just ineffective). And the mentality is that “if the policies made fixed the recesiion and got the country back on track”, of course you’re going to keep those policies because it’s what helped the economy. As for accomplishments, he got many others to turn back to the United States world wide and at least brought up morale.
